What is the status of my current health and wellness?

This is a review and examination. A look at each dimension of stress in your life (physical, biochemical, and emotional/energetic) and then measuring the limits of your performance and function. It starts with a careful review of your health intake forms, followed by an exam for either your general level of wellness, and/or any specific areas of concern.

Price is dependent on how many areas of concern are involved, and how many of the three dimensions of health are measured.

Initial Consultation     Free

There are a variety of examination methods that I use:
  • muscle movement, balance, strength and flexibility testing
  • kinesiology
  • surface electromyography
  • thermal imaging
  • ryodoraku analysis     (Electo Meridian Imaging)
  • high speed videography
  • computerized wellness quotient
  • laboratory testing of blood, urine and saliva
  • diet analysis
  • body imaging (x-rays, CT scans, MRI)     These exams are referred out to an independent facility
The average examination fee for a new client with one area of concern is $90.

What can you do to help me?

This is a summary of the types of care provided, to help your body heal itself with minimum discomfort, in the shortest possible time.

Balance the Physical Dimension

The cornerstone of my practice centers on the nervous system, to help the body better communicate within itself, and it's environment. Adjustments are "resets" to the nervous system, and instantly restore lost communication.

CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENTS

Dependent on how many areas I adjust, and if it includes extremities such as feet, elbows, or hips.

From light touch, to mechanical, to full range “hands on” adjusting is offered to restore normal biomechanics and nervous system adaptation. These techniques allow for faster healing and restoration of normal function to your body. Contrary to popular opinion, adjustments such as those used by chiropractors have been around for thousands of years, commonly paired with acupuncture in a practice referred to as “tuina” (Twee-na). When a joint does not have full movement, it alters the function of the muscles that are attached to it, as well as those around it. As well, the altered movement disturbs the proprioception, or balance, of the body, which adversely affects the nervous system. We use many techniques within the chiropractic world to gently release any interferences within the nervous system. This restores the essential communication to allow your body to heal itself.

Frequently, I use muscle work to help with the healing process, in addition to the adjustments of the joints, it helps the muscles relax and better "hold" the adjustment.

MUSCLE WORK

This is for either pressure point therapy, muscle release technique or active stretching.

We are movement machines. Our bodies are built on the foundation of muscles, and coordinated, flexible and strong muscle function is essential not only to our movement, but to our organs working correctly. When identified, we help muscles heal themselves faster by using gentle therapies which focus on releasing the knots or sore points within the affected area, and improving circulation. Additionally, we use stretching techniques to restore the full movement and flexibility to tight muscle groups.

Exercise is the key for you taking control of your physical body, as we teach you how to strengthen and stretch the key imbalances found within your structure.

FUNCTIONAL EXERCISE DESIGN

Priced per session, generally 1-2 exercises per session. This includes demonstrating the exercise, and having you perform it so that you have a correct feel for the movement.

Based on the findings of your examination, we design and demonstrate functional exercises to help balance the physical and energetic stresses on your body. We teach you specific stretching and strengthening movements to improve the function of the targeted muscles. Our programs are easy, quick, and designed to get you results. Our focus is on bringing all of your muscles back into full and normal function, with the minimal amount of effort on your part.

The average fee per visit for balancing the physical dimension is $79.

Balance the Energetic/Emotional Dimension

The acupuncture work that I do balances the energy of the body, as well as the emotions. This speeds any healing process, and helps to connect us with the subtle energies within our environment.

ACUPUNCTURE

This is per session, and dependent on whether I test for the balance of energy within your body prior to care.

With over 5000 years of experience, this ancient system is based on the balanced flow of energies through channels called meridians. Unbalanced flows or stoppages of energies create health concerns, affecting one or more of the three dimensions- the physical, bio-chemical or emotional. The traditional method of balancing the energy is using needles, but I also offer other techniques that are equally as effective, such as acu-pressure, electro-acupuncture, and low level laser acupuncture, which is totally painless.

The average fee for balancing your energy through acupuncture is $81.

Balance the Bio-Chemical Dimension (Nutrition)

Our biochemistry is the main connection of our environment to our internal bodies. What you put into your body is essential to a better lifestyle and managing the stress we all experience.

NUTRITIONAL AND DIET COUNSELING

Priced by the time spent testing and implementing your program. Does not include laboratory testing or any supplementation, but does include a specific plan for your nutritional needs.

The average nutritional counseling session fee is $75.

Care for 2 Dimensions

This is for work in two of the three dimensions. The combination serves to speed your healing process, and to bring your body back in balance quickly and powerfully.

The average fee for balancing 2 of the dimensions is $94.
